CATCH IT. BIN IT. KILL IT.

 

Flu viruses can spread

if you don’t catch your cough

or sneeze hygienically

passing flu from person to person.

Flu viruses can live on hard surfaces

for several hours

making flu easy to spread.

To prevent the spread of flu

when you cough or sneeze

catch it in a clean tissue

bin it, and kill it by washing

your hands as soon as you can.

Catch it, bin it, kill it.

 

PREVENTION

1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

2. Cover you cough with a tissue or your elbow.

3. Bin the tissues after one use.

4. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

5. Stay at home if you are ill.

6. Don’t share pens, books, glasses, etc.

7. Avoid large crowds of people.

 

SYMPTOMS

1. Temperature over 38ºC.

2. Dry cough.

3. Headache.

4. Unusual tiredness.

5. Aching muscles.

6. Loss of appetite.

7. Sore throat.

8. Runny nose.

9. Vomiting /diarrhoea.

 

WASH YOUR HANDS!

1. Put your hands under warm runny water.

2. Rub your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

3. Use a clean paper towel and dry your skin.
